Like last year, Legislative Day will be held in conjunction with VOICES for Alabama's Children's Advocacy Day, which will include media coverage and targeted visits with legislators. This is an opportunity for us to come together to learn about the state legislative process and issues affecting children and pediatrics in general, and meet with your lawmakers. All Chapter members are strongly encouraged to attend so that we can speak with one voice!
The agenda will begin with breakfast and a pediatrics-specific session at 9 a.m., followed by comments from lawmakers and a how-to/messaging segment to prepare you for visits with your legislators.
