Together, we can continue to improve health for all Alabama children!
Thanks to the support of our partners, including Children’s of Alabama, the BCBS Caring Foundation, ALL Kids and Alabama Medicaid (through federal match dollars), the Alabama Child Health Improvement Alliance (ACHIA) has made tremendous strides for child health by making practice-based improvements in early screening for developmental delay and autism, obesity/hypertension, HPV vaccine uptake and asthma management. ACHIA has also helped pediatric healthcare providers satisfy Bright Futures guidelines, CME, MOC Part 4, and recertification for Patient-Centered Medical Home recognition. Above all, ACHIA has helped practices reliably deliver care and foster a culture of quality improvement.
We are seeking funding to sustain this valuable work into the future. Children’s of Alabama’s CEO Mike Warren has issued a challenge of the state’s pediatricians for donations for ACHIA, for which he will match additional COA funds up to $10,000. You can make a donation now by clicking the button below. The Alabama Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization and serves as one of the fiscal agents (along with UAB) for ACHIA. Thank you for your support!
